Hello hello, It's been awhile since I've journal-ed (3 or so years!). It's always kind of weird logging back into dA, mainly because I see all my old icons and work and it doesn't feel like it's been years, but at the same time it also feels like it was another time altogether. I see my water colors and think "OH YEAH, I want to do more of that!!". I've been keeping myself occupied with other artistic endeavors though. I've done some craft painting (I have a box full of wooden things for me to paint), which I really like. It doesn't feel like you have to be perfect for them. I started going through my old dolls to upload my bases. Then spent 3+ hours trying to figure out base credit (only to find that the site no longer exists). So I think I'm going to have to spend an evening (or 20) sorting my finished dolls by basemaker and THEN spending an evening uploading my favorites. In other news, no progress was made on WIPs today, but, while searching for today's base, I found the base credit I was looking for randomly last week when I opened up a promising WIP from 2007 that I might finish. /sigh/ it's less complicated than it sounds.

Okay, this has been kind of bugging me for awhile (I mean, why actually doll when I can obsess about dolling instead?): How ever in the world was I able to churn out dolls like crazy 5 years ago, and now I'm working on a doll since the beginning of May and yeah, I don't think I'm even half way done?? Like a tootsie pop, the world may never know. I don't know how people can doll baseless on a regular basis. Really. My two WIPs that I'm all gaga over are both baseless and I'm just drowning sometimes with them; One has been WIP since Sept 2010 and my newer one since May 2011.
